- POLAR NIGHT AND NORTHERN LIGHTS CREATE THE MAGIC OF WINTER IN LAPLAND
- Far above the Arctic Circle you can experience the arctic winter at its best. Winter starts here already in November and lasts until the end of April. The long winter contains different periods when the light changes gradually, each of the periods being really beautiful. Nature is covered with crystal white snow, lakes and rivers are frozen. In the mid-winter moon is lightning the landscape even at noon and Northern Lights are painting the night skies. When sun is higher in the spring-winter time it makes the snow crust glitter like diamonds.
